Many of the clients I work with have anxiety, depression and self-esteem issues. I use a Cognitive-Behavioral framework for therapy, however I use many different modalities to accommodate the specific situation of my clients. I was a professor for 20 years and I enjoy sharing my knowledge about how change can occur.

I am trained to work with families, however I find that since each of us comes from a family, I can work with individuals and couples, using the same modality successfully. Learning to put in the past, the negative patterns that we have learned in childhood, allows us to move more positively into the future.
I enjoy working with people to help set boundaries, so they trust that what they think is right for them, and to not let them be swayed by people who want you to act as they do. Healthy boundaries raise personal self-esteem.
I like to help people overcome issues of low self-esteem and encourage them to find creative and positive ways for them to see their many strengths.
